Brisbane Airshow is today celebrating the wonderful women aviation. From the Air Transport Auxiliary, where women were employed during WWII piloting legendary fighters like the Spitfire and Hurricane, to bombers like the Lancaster and air ambulances in and out of conflict. To Rosie the Riveter and her army of aircraft builders. Today we recognise your significant contribution to history. 

Women today are in the cockpits of airliners, military jets, air ambulance, managing airlines, engineering and maintenance just to name a few. You Go Girls!
